Gloomy Weeks…Plan Ahead

Today I want to talk about a conversation I had with my aunt recently. She was explaining to me how she became broke for awhile because she didn’t really plan longterm. I’m speaking with regards to pension plans, 401k retirement plans, and Individual Retirement Accounts or IRA’s. I was really getting schooled on alot of stuff and learned many things. Some advice. Did anyone ever appreciate the ‘one to grow on’?

Just a quick thought. It’s funny how people act like they aren’t a year older until their birthday… as if they haven’t been aging for the last 11 months. Funny, yet understandable. After about 21, you stop having that desire to be one year older. Personally, if i could work out some Highlander-ish immortality at age 26 I’d be set. (I imagine the cat that realizes he’s immortal at 86 is just pissed off.) Read more

So today, I want to write about my recent observations on religion. I’ve been trying to correlate the differences between Christianity and Islam. I’ve had the opportunity lately to hang out with some very interesting people who are extremely spiritual and I guess what I’ve noticed is what I wish to explicate. I think it’s important to note where it all started. I’m going to do something that I promised my colleague on this blog that I wouldn’t do. But I can’t tell the story without doing it.
