I Mean, Who’s Really Arrogant..

When did Karl Rove become the spokesperson for the Bush campaign? Can somebody please tell me? Last I checked, Rove resigned as assistant chief of staff to the President awhile back. See…this is why I despise politicians. They’re the perfect practitioners of flip-flopping in every ideal known to man. For those who don’t know anything about Karl Rove, this is the guy that had a huge e-mail scam going on in the White House where he was using third party software/servers to send out e-mails to White House officials, that combined with his political influence on government rulings eventually led to his resignation.

After his resignation Democratic Presidential nominee John Edwards had this to say about the whole ordeal…’good riddance!’  I mean, I’d like to think that it takes alot to piss off John Edwards. The thing that really irks me about Rove isn’t the reasons for his resignation, its just that he’s absolutely clueless when he opens his mouth. At a fund-raising rally in New York Rove was documented as saying:

“Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers.”

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?!?! What do you call your war on Iraq? Your upcoming war in Afghanistan? There were numerous bills that were passed on the Senate floor after the September 11th attacks and there would be absolutely no way for him to know what the Democratic majority voted on. Not to mention seats in the Senate are split pretty evenly as well so it would be impossible for someone to accurately state that. Lastly, and most importantly, the country wouldn’t have even of had to go to war had this never happened. It was when a liberal (ole Bill Clinton) was in office that problems were actually being dealt with. What problems? Oh I don’t know…the economy? Foreign diplomacy? But I digress….

Rove goes on to cite that Obama is narcissistic. Well, yeah, he’s running for the most powerful position in the human world right now. But guess what? Bush and McCain are pretty damn arrogant too. And they’re WHITE, running in a race that’s been predominately held by, wait for it…wait for it…wait for it…white people. So is Obama truly elitist? Is it truly arrogance? No…I call it tenacious acquiescence.

Rove: “Even if you never met him, you know this guy,” he said at a Capitol Hill breakfast, according to ABC. “He’s the guy at the country club with the beautiful date, holding a martini and a cigarette that stands against the wall and makes snide comments about everyone.”

All I can say is…..

Don’t hate the player, hate the game buddy.
