Hello,

I’m a white girl and i would like to express my point of view. I understand what you mean but please you black guys need to do the same and stop putting light skin girls (latina, mulata, white, etc.) in rap videoclips where all the guys are black. That doesn’t make sense to me, it is not respectful to the black girls wich are very beautiful. Open your eyes and look at any american rap video and you’ll see! Just my 2 cents.

actually im a white man who looking back on it ive dated more black women than white women. for me and most of my friends that are in interracial relationships its not a choclate fantasy its what were attracted to I just happen to find black women more attractive. I dont shut out white women its just a preferance which we all have. some people on here are automatically my girl also happens tobe more attracted to white men that doesnt neccessarily mean shes jumping ship or anything its just how it is. every individual regardless of race is attracted to a certaintype of person for example some people think brown are eyes are beautiful some green some blue or taller women over short people its all about personal prefereance so to me making an issue of how people want to date outside their race is kind of pointless especially considering the fact that i doubt you want the woman whos overly dependant a little sexist and pulled her dating preferences from statistics

Get over it. Date people based on what you have in common, point blank. This is America, and we have all been raised differently. Dating is dating not marriage. Dating should not be so much work. It should be comfortable and pleasurable. If you have had bad experiences with black men, then try something else, but don’t exclude the brothers totally. Even a child knows that if he or she keeps putting his or her hand on the stove, it will keep getting burned. Try a microwave if you can’t keep your hands of the stove!!!!!!

I think you totally missed the point here. His point isn’t about race, its moreso on the mentality that (I believe he feels) women in general sometimes fall victim to (understandably so in his opinion).I think he’s saying that (these) women should concern themselves less with statistics and more with themselves and what they want, regardless of race. I myself am pretty disgusted when a woman doesn’t date X because “they are Y” so they date Z instead. It’s dumb reason for a woman or anyone to exclude and generalize an entire ppl. But like you said, to each his own, so….fuck it.

I agree that the issue of ethnic hertitage or background will come up, but with that I’d ask who in here hasn’t had difficulties in their relationships? Is it easier for you to go on lone waiting for mr/ms. right even when it’s right there in front of you? Do you think that you should shield off potential chenistry based on ethnic grouping? I’m not saying that put anyone under the bus…just saying be more open.

I’m older and white. I’ve had several women outside of my race want to date. You stated that we have a “chocolate” fantasy. I have to say not a fantasy but being of different races and being attracted to each other isn’t bad. White doesn’t make you perfect. Each individual decides how they will act in a relationship. Its more of loving a person for themselves than being about race. I can say that white women aren’t happy when I’m with a black female , but that has to be their problem.

America-America. Poor Black America. We really have to STOP blaming other people for our troubles and start taking care of business. A Black women who is mentally, spiritually, and physically in balance with her God/world/self does not need to please others with who she chooses to date. Life is short, and you could be hit by a car walking out the door. Take time to date/socialize with people/men who make you laugh, smile, and causes your pulse to quicken. If this man so happens to be White, then good for him.

Black men, start taking care of your business and watch out for your brother. If you see him (another Black man) acting a fool or abusing ANY woman, you morally need to speak up and correct him. If you see a brother not getting his education or learning a trade, speak up, and tell him to get a new career. If you see a brother not taking care of his children and running the street, you need to speak up and tell him he is being a bad role model. The problems that most Black men face have not been put on your shoulders from Black women. Remember, Black women have been the true “bread winner” single- handledly since the turn of the century. We kept many Black brothers clothe, fed, washed/clean, etc during the end of slavery (doing other peoples laundry and babysitting)-during the Great Depression (doing whatever jobs we could to keep the family together) – during the Black Movement of the 1960′s (while some brothers ran off to be soldiers or get into the Black Panthers) – and currently (as single mothers or divorcees). We are just “tired” of the bulls**t and need to move on with our lives. Yes, we only have one life to live — and we are NOW concentrating on ourselves. So, if a White, Latino, Asian, Indian, Mixed, or Immigrant makes you feel good and treats you like a “LADY” — go with the flow and DON’T LOOK BACK….Our Black brothers will be okay, there are plenty of other women of different races to pick up his spirits and deal with his drama. To each his own!!
