I feel like this because when a guy is really interested in a woman he will make that time (no matter what) to call her because he wants to know more about her, he wants to talk to her, he wants to hear her voice again and possibly ask her out because he wants to see her again. He is "INTERESTED". I think the man is just not interested or the thrill/excitement he felt when he first met the lady has worn off.
